The Full Pendulum Move in Indian Club Fitness Exercise Training
Hi my name is Julio Anta from Anta’s Fitness and Self Defense in Miami, Florida and my website is www.miamikettlebell.com and the next move I am going to show you is a called the full pendulum. If you’ve already the pendulum, which remember 3 fingers on the stem, one on the knob and then you could bring your finger out for more direction and the pendulum looks like this. Now the full pendulum is the same thing but instead of stopping here we are going to go complete circle giving you incredible flexibility. I have a lot of shoulder injuries. This really helps a lot. All the Indian clubs, most of the Indian clubs the light ones do but this one in particular. Remember be fluent, soft, relax your shoulders, dissociate your shoulders. Don’t tighten them up like this and don’t stop. Use momentum and circular motion. This is circular strength training, great for rehabilitation of injuries and strengthening your shoulders so you don’t get injuries. This is starting to come back and a lot of athletes are starting to use it to recuperate. So complete circles keeping your eyes on it. One of the important things that I mentioned was dissociation of the shoulder. What it means is your socket. Instead of tightening up like this, let it loose when you do it.
