Hi, this is Christina Varga from the Varga Gallery in Woodstock, New York and on behalf of Expert Village today, I’m going to show you how to be a self-taught artist. Not an easy thing, um, I really didn’t go to school to learn about art. I went to school to learn about telecommunications and journalism and um, really taught myself what I wanted to do and being a self-taught artist is kind of like a purist as far as experience goes, you really don’t have much so you create your own and by enjoying what you’re making you continue to make the thing you enjoy making, so your voice naturally comes out, you just continue to do what you like and it gets better and better and better as you practice more and more and that’s what I’ve done, I’ve practiced to moving toward perfection, at some point.
