How to Assemble a .40 Caliber Semi Automatic Handgun
Okay, now that we have gone over how to properly lubricate our weapon or field lubricate our weapon if that is better terminology for it. We are going to reassemble the weapon. And again if I took this down which I will do now and I have cleaned it and I want to reassemble it I would grab my slide put it in my hand, get my barrel, slide that in, take my guide, rod and spring, in a safe direction put that in keep my thumb over it. Make sure there is no obstruction and everything here is where it is supposed to be inside. Again match up the groves the male female. Slide this on. Lock it to the rear. Put my take down lever at 3 o'clock hold onto it release it. Bring it forward. And now it is back in working order. It is assembled properly. It will not come off because I have assembled it the way it is supposed to be. And again always confer with your user’s manual or the manufacturer’s specifications and instructions when disassembling or trying to assemble a weapon.
