From the explanation that I gave you, you may have a hard time getting a mental picture of what exactly a slider is, so here, I'm going to show you. Riding up a quarter pipe, and as I come around, you'll see that I basically went up and did just kind of a fakey, but I crossed my bars up, and I actually slid the front wheel down. This, as I said, you can do it either for sort of for utility sake, if you're riding along fakey and you just sort of do a slider on flat ground you'll come around, or you can do it on a quarter pipe, on wedges, and you can actually incorporate it into all kinds of pretty difficult tricks that are really fun to do. So it's one of those things where it takes a little bit of practice, little bit of patience, and you have to make sure to back off the handle bars so that you're actually farther back than you would be on a regular fakey because it allows your front end to un-weight and slide around a little bit more. Once it starts sliding, you just want to keep looking over your shoulder, and it should slide right around. It's a little bit of a strange momentum change, and this one, it's a little bit tricky. And it's, like I said, it's a pretty advanced level trick, especially once you start incorporating it into harder maneuvers, so have some patience with it. It's really, it's a fun trick.
