Ideally once you want to start doing them over bigger objects you want to be able to spin the 180 and not have to rely so much on looking over your shoulder to get the spin. It's something that comes with time and a little bit of practice but the reason for that is if you're flying into something and you're basically 180ing something at a really high rate of speed, you want to be absolutely sure where your landing is because otherwise it can end up being pretty dangerous. So what I did, and I think that I showed that is that I, when I hit about 90 degrees I actually, sort of , try to stall it a little bit and the reason for that is that I have a longer period of time in which I can spot my landing. I actually didn't quite land completely 180 degrees. It was just a little bit less because that actually, if I'm coming down and I'm landing like this, it's going to, I'm going to keep having that momentum turning me. Whereas if I'm landing on a surface like that where I'm actually leaned in just a little bit, that actually stops my momentum from spinning and gives me a more controlled roll back. So basically in previous units, I've covered basic 180s to death, but what you want to make sure to do, once you're going to start doing them, especially over longer objects, because the more speed you have the scarier it is. So you want to make sure you are spotting your landing as long as you possibly can, make sure that you are not going to continue spinning once you land and make sure that you are really comfortable with really high speed roll backs. You know, because basically the faster, you can only do 180s as fast as you can roll back. So make sure that if you're going to start doing 180s over small driveway boxes and then you know bigger objects like 180ing box jumps, 180ing big sets of stairs that kind of thing, you want to make sure that have your high speed roll backs really figured out because that will allow you to ride out and that's the ultimate goal.
