How to Paint 19th Century Chairs

These chairs that I want to show you are a great example of 19th century windors with great paint on them and this is what I would say you would pay premium dollar for when your buying these sets of chairs. You love to see this sponge painted on these and these are in great condition you can see the paint doesn't have a lot of wear on it you can see yellow mustard going through here with the green out lined of the plank seat and the sponge painting that's swirls right down the center of the plank. And you know for the most part you can find these chairs but they have tremendous wear on them which you can see that the paint is naturally worn off. These are in great condition the spindles here you'll have the yellow paint in tact and you can see the variation and the color here with the mustard paint going up. You can see the very typical 19th century design with fruit in the basket with the leaves maple leaves on it, this is a really typical design for 19th century windsor. So you can see the red flaming red on the sides and the the pale paint here and the definition of the fruit is still there, the paint is wonderful so if you can see we have a set of 4 of these here to show you today. And these are a great example of what you'll find out there with wonderful paint on it and you'll pay a premium price for these chairs, so this is just an example of 19th century windors with great paint.
