Now what we've got here is the harness carrier of the drum. This is actually what you are going to put on your body to hold the drum itself. So there are a lot of things that are going to come into play to make this feel comfortable and to hold the drum correctly. So first off you are going to want to make sure that this what is called the belly plate right here is sitting on your hips a little bit above here where your leg is going to move. When you are marching, your leg can move freely without moving a drum. So to adjust this on this specific carrier, is these 2 lugs right here. Once they are loosened, they can really change the height of the belly plate. So once you get it to where you want it, you can tighten the lugs again clockwise.
