How to Put Guts on a Snare Drum

Okay so now we are going to replace the snare guts back into the drum. So right now these are upside down. You are going to want this hole right here to be underneath the snare when you are putting this in. So you are going to take this end and slide it through the opposite end, kind of pull it through and make sure that these two little knobs here are in the little groove. You an get this knob put the screw in the socket there and start to screw it in. Now you are going to want to get a fairly tight tension for this. So now you can actually hear the pitches of the snares and we can begin to tune them.
