Using a Drum Key to Replace a Drum Rim

And you can take your drum key and start to give it a spin and hits the rim and stops itself again using the start pattern. Now you are going to find that some of these lugs will spin much better than others. Over time when they start to rust a little bit or some stuff starts to get in there, it is going to be a little more difficult. But with a fairly new drum with nice greased lugs, usually you can give it a good spin.
