Positioning a New Drum Head

Okay now replacing the bottom head, if you are going to use the old one that is okay but I really recommend using a new bottom head. When you take it off because these heads are thin and sensitive that they really get kind of out of whack rather quickly. So when you seat it on there, what I like to do is get the logo on the drum head to be exactly in front of the drum and the reason for that is if you are holding the drum on your body like this you lift it up, the logo is right at the top and you can read it easy. So now if what you are trying to do is hide your logo if it is old or worn down, you can also put it right next to the snare strainer so that the snare guts cover it up. You can also do this if you are using maybe a different head than what your company or your sponsor is and kind of trying to hide what the logo is.
