How to Get the Right Students for Kids' Theater Class

Hi this is Paul Louis and this is my assistant Haley Beth and we will continue with our theater games for kids but before we do any further demonstrations, I want to talk a little bit about your students and your students wanting to be in your class. Now a lot of times when you are teaching class you may be hired as the teacher and you don’t make the rules of the school. However, if you are the person who is definitely in charge of making the rules of school and bringing in the students you really should get kids who want to be there because a lot of times you will find parents sticking their kids in school who basically want a baby-sitting services and they think that their kid is the greatest actor in the world but the kid may not be interested in that. So you really want to have kids there who really want to be there because it makes your job a lot easier. It is much more rewarding to work with kids who want to be there and get excited about acting and the theatre game. Right Haley? Haley has always been in all of my classes and she is very enthusiastic about these games as you can see. So please make sure that if you have any say so, make sure the kids want to be there.
