The One-Word Story Theater Game for Kids

Hi this is Paul Louis and this is my assistant Haley Beth and we are going to continue now with our theatre games for kids. This is a fun exercise that you do with the kids. It is a one word story. Okay, so we showed a one word scene before and now we are going to do a one word story. The object of this game is each of us has to say only one word but we are going to make up a story as we go along. We are going to start off like this and you can do this with a whole bunch of kids in a row but we only have two here so we will go back and forth. Once, upon, a, time, there, was, a big, boy, who, was, very, stinky, and, very, fat and, he, was, very, naughty, so, naughty, that, he, went, to, a, fair, and melted, a, cotton candy; oops that was two words but you get the idea. Hey we were doing pretty good there for a while. We went back and forth with just one word. Okay so we discovered that the story was about a boy who was large and kind of nasty and went to a fair and he purchased a cotton candy. So Cotton candy is where we went wrong when we said two words but you get the idea. It’s a lot of fun. Good job.
