How to Replace a Bottom Drum Head

So now we can replace the bottom head and you are going to want to decide where you put the logo for this. What I like to do we put the logo on the top head closest to the body. For this, I like to put as faraway from the body on the opposite edge because when you lift the drum up, the logo will be right side up. What you can also do if you are using a head that isn't from your sponsor or something like that, you can always put the logo under where the guts are going to go. Depending on what your purpose is, but for right now we are going to put on the side directly across from the body. So you are going to want to pick up the rim, place it down and make sure it is seated on the head correctly and you are going to want to make sure that these feet are right where the snare strainer is. That you are not going to want to get it something like that because there are kind of these grooves right here and that is where the snare is going to go. If you've got it offset, there will be no room to put those through. So you can start to finger tighten all these lugs and make sure they are threaded in the socket. You can take your drum key and start to give it a good spin until it stops itself and it hits the rim.
