top Drum Head Tuning Tips

(unscrewing the lugs on the snare drum) Now at this point you might want to try to remove the rim from the drum head and the drum a lot of times there would be a lug somewhere that is still stuck in. So what you are going to want to do is go around and loosen each lug a little bit instead of having to search around just give each one a little turn. Usually you would get it, here we still got one stuck in this side. You can remove the rim and place it down on a safe surface that won't damage it. We got a blanket there to try to prevent scratching and then you can just remove the head off of the drum of the top like that and set it down.
