Hi this is Dave for Expert Village and today were making southwestern chili now that we have the chili's and the veggies cooking away over here you want to add our chili powder. Now again we said we have a mild New Mexican chili powder and a little spicier one so depending on again your heat level as you like and this one we're going to make it a little mild but you can mix these together in anyway you want. We usually put a tablespoon of each and this one I think I'm going to put in a mild chili especially if your making it for a group of people you don't want to make it to hot. You can always add more heat later if you want to of Tabasco or cholula sauce or whatever but I just like to put in 2 tablespoons of the mild or rather on of each you think they almost look exactly alike, but it's a matter of how many seeds and how many ribs they use to make it mild or spicy. We're going to put in that fresh corn that we cut a little ago and this is just going to add a different dimension of flavors so you just want to put all that in there just like that. Give it a nice stir and now at this point it almost makes a paste so you can cut down your heat and just let that blend together a little bit and then we'll be ready for the next step and your championship chili.
