Loop Browsing With the EXS24: Apple Logic Pro

Hi this is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village. Now in this next clip I'm going to show you the loop browser. I've gone to audio, bring up the loop browser. What this will bring up is actually from another program called garage band from apple. And what this contains is midi loops and audio loops now up here it says jam pack management. Now you can buy different jam packs with different sounds in them. We only have one here but if you purchase different ones they would come up in this menu. You can choose rather you want to list major or minor or different signatures. We're going to choose all, we're going to go to our base sounds, bring up dry and here are all our base sounds here. You can see they give you the tempo, the key that it's in, how many beats that's played for and how closely it matches your music. Now right up in here is where you can choose what key you want to hear the loop playing. So say your song is an A, ours is an A, when you click on this it'll transpose it and play it in a proper key.
