Quad Stretches for Treadmill Workout

Hi, my name is Rotem I'm an exercise physiologist and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. The next exercise that we'll do is the quadriceps stretching. Now you can go to a wall or any kind of machine to hold it for extra support. Now bend your knee towards the back so you can grab your foot with your arm. Now start by pushing your leg as much as you can backwards. The hand is only there to support the knee so you won't move around. So I'm pushing, you can see I'm pushing my leg backwards and I can feel here the stretch in all these quadriceps muscles. Hold it for between 15 to 30 seconds and then switch. So now switch the other leg, taking it, pushing it backwards. You see I'm pushing backwards, this is the beginning position, now I'm pushing backwards, the knee stands in place, I feel the stretching and I release it.
