Hello! I just want to add to your tube change tutorial that it is advised that after you put the new tube in you should wipe it with a microfiber or any other lints free cloth. The moisture and grase on human hands can shorten the tube's lifetime. You handle them basically like a halogen bulb for the car. If you touch it, wipe it.

How to Change Pre-Amp Tubes on Guitar Amps
Hi my name is Tim Ambrosuis and I am a professional guitar technician for Expert Village.com. I am going to show you how to change a preamp tube on a tube amplifier. On this one we are going to have a back plate that you are going to need to take off to expose the back of the amplifier. Some of these will have these casings around them. What you have to do is it is spring loaded and push down on it; turn counter clockwise and it will pop out. After that it is really simple, all you do is pull the tube out, make sure you notice there is going to be a gap in the preamp tube with the all the prongs sticking out; just notice where that is. Just take your new preamp tube, match it up, push it down into place, take your casing, push it down turn it counter clockwise and there you are.
