How To Finish The Gift Basket: Part 1

Hi, I'm Rachel Fish from Incredible Edibles, for Expert Village. So now, we want to continue filling the basket with more dried fruits, nuts, and chocolates, and keeping it within an elegant look. We want to try to make it symmetrical so I've chosen here dried mango and dried pineapple to be symmetrical and match with the colors of the peaches and pears. We're going to do the same thing here. We don't have to worry about it being upside down, pineapples are just basically one side, as are the mango's, but we do have to make sure that it looks nice together. Now, as opposed to what I did here, one peach and one pear, I'm going to do one pineapple and two mango's because the sizes are a little bit different and it's going to look a little bit nicer like this. But again, I'm going to angle the mango's to keep it looking nice and pleasant, I'm angling it in towards the wine. So now we're taking the pineapples, putting one pineapple and putting two mango's, and although we're not putting one and one as we did with the peaches and pears, I am angling the mango to angle in towards the wine and keep it looking nice. We're just going to keep doing this until we fill up the rows. They're different sizes of mango so sometimes you have to play around a little bit just to make sure you have the right sizes, it's not too big, it's not too small, but we're just going to keep angling it and it's giving it a pretty colorful look. It's adding the color, it blends in nicely with the wine bottle, with the organza that's on the wine bottle, and I'm gonna just keep going until we're finished again making sure we don't put in too much and we don't put in too little. See, we're ending the pineapple is the same color as the pear over here. We started also with the same color, we started with the pineapple, here we started with the pear. Keep the colors symmetrical and it's starting to take on a very beautiful look.
