Get Foot Placement Tips for Ollies

This is Kyle Hovercamp from Skatechurch in Portland, Oregon. On behalf of Expert Village, this is the tutorial of how to learn how to ollie on your skateboard. In this clip, I'm going to teach you how to know where to put your feet when you're going to do an ollie. Before I showed you where to put your feet when you're just rolling, which was on the bolts. Now, when you're ready to ollie, bring both of your feet back a little bit. Your back foot has to be on the tail of the deck and your front foot should below the bolts. When you pop your trick, your foot has enough room to slide up to level your board out. Don't have your feet too close to each other on the tail because the board will start lifting up when you bend down to pop your trick. You also can't have your feet too far apart or you won't be able to pop your trick at all. You have to remember to keep your balance, so when you have your feet in the right place, just keep your center of gravity of roll and just be balanced and comfortable.
