Types of Addictive Drugs

Hi, my name is John DePalma from New York City on behalf of Expert Village I'm here today to help you recognize drug and alcohol addiction. Today we're going to discuss they types of drugs that are out there, what the kids are doing, what they're liking, the effects they're having on them on a day to day basis, what parents can look for and watch out for. We're also going to discuss the effects of the mind and body which are crucial, people really need to watch out for that. And what to do if you know somebody who's on drugs and alcohol, there are tools we can use. We have pamphlets, we have booklets, there are interventions available, there are websites out there. So we're going to discuss all these opportunities that are available to the community as well as parenting.
