Using the Mixer Window in Apple Logic Pro

This is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village on your audio tracks right up here the first thing you see is EQ and that'll bring up a very powerful channel EQ if you just double click there you can change anyone of these frequencies just by dragging up or you can drag and right on there anyway. And you can see that inserted an EQ onto your inserts if you want another plug in there you just underneath click and hold and that'll bring up your plug ins, you can apply mono plug in, or stereo plug in and there's many to choose from in here. From dynamics to EQ's, distortions, delays, modulation, courses, chorus and so on down here is where the sends are these sends go to like a bus so say you had a reverb setup on a bus you can access it through this. Select it and then you have your send right here you just drag up and down to how much of a signal you want to send to that bus. Now down here is where your inputs were when we were doing recordings right now there is no input so we don't even need that. And here is where your outputs are you see all the outputs we have we're going to use 1-2 as our main outs you can also go to a bus here. Now on audio instruments you'll see that they're exactly the same as your audio tracks with your inserts your EQ's, your sends and your outputs and the same with your auxiliaries and your buses. In the next clip we're going to talk about global and track view.
