Hi this is Dave for Expert Village today we're going to discuss champagnes and sparkling wines okay champagne glasses are very important element of enjoying a good champagne in savoring it rather than just drinking it. So you see normally at a wedding party is this type of shape sometimes even more of a saucer shape but what this does, it allows all the bubbles of the champagne to come out immediately and you get flat champagne as you drink it. The story goes that the King Henry the 8 had commissioned a glass person to do this in the shape of Maria Antoinette breast we'll see how that goes. But these are terrible for drinking champagne if you want to keep bubbles in so put that away. Then these are wine glasses I probably don't want those either all of those who worked as well they have a nice shape to them, what you really want to do is have a flute a champagne flute and what this does is keeps a surface area at the top very very small, so as the bubbles are crest into the champagne glass you won't have a lot of that bubbles going out so quickly, so your going to have a nice bubbly drink.
