How to Dress for Meeting Girls

Hi, I'm Alex MacRae a social dynamics teacher on behalf of expertvillage.com, I'm here today to talk about picking up women in bars and clubs. I'd like to say a few words about dress and grooming. Find out if the bar or club that you're going to has a dress code. For example, some bars don't allow jeans or sneakers, or even t-shirts. Some might even require formal attire and this is important to know before you go. Also, first impressions are important, it's more important to be well groomed and clean than fashionable. I would rather wear a fifteen dollar shirt that's ironed than a fifteen thousand dollar shirt from Europe that looks like I just picked it up off the floor. Also, keep in mind that women notice detail, therefore, notice if your nails are neat, if you have really bushy eyebrows brush your eyebrows as well as your hair. Make sure that you're well shaven. Lastly make sure that you're comfortable with what you're wearing especially in terms of where you are going. If you're a fun guy you can get away with a printed t-shirt that has something fun on it like, "For Sale". And also it's important for a funny t-shirts, because there are a lot of them out there, to make sure that the t-shirt is non sexual, that way you make sure that there's nothing threatening about what you're wearing. And make sure that what you're wearing is comfortable in terms of where you're going. If you're going to a bar or club that has college aged kids you can wear jeans and a t-shirt. If you're going to more of a business like environment wear business casual. Thank you for watching.
