How to Find Your Own Style Meeting Girls

Hi, I'm Alex MacRae, a social dynamics instructor, on behalf on expertvillage.com. I'm talking today about picking up women in bars and clubs. Let's talk about style, what's comfortable for you? What attracts women, and how might you develop a rock star personality through your style? Well firstly you have to understand what you're use to wearing and what looks good on you. Collect the advice of a few trusted friends or a female friend who has a particularly good sense of style. Ask them. What looks good on me? What would you think is my usual style of going out? Do you have a hippie look, a punk look, a rock look, a hip-hop look, a business look? All these looks can work for different types of people and by understanding it and shopping with those looks in mind, you can find something that looks good on you but also fits your personality. Once you have something that fits your personality and also looks good, you can go to then use, they might be incongruent, that might not fit exactly that look. In other words, if I have a rock music type look, I could go to a place that has hip-hop music and people that enjoy hip-hop and wear hip-hop like clothing. This demonstrates the women in the venue my personality and also the fact that I enjoy being in this venue and that I might be open to meeting someone who enjoys hip-hop. Now lastly, if you wear something very extreme like a Mohawk or a fro or earrings or big jewelry or brightly colored clothing you'll get a lot of attention. Now the secret to part of a rock star personality is to enjoy that attention a be use to it. The first few times you wear something extreme you'll get the attention and you won't be use to it and it will show. But, the goal is to be so comfortable with yourself that people will notice your comfort in what you're wearing and in what you're wearing the extreme. So this is the first step to understanding how your style and the extremes it can take connects to your personality. Thanks for watching.
