I'm Dr T. K. Roy speaking on behalf of Expert Village. Very space saving system is kid system or the California kid system. There the cages are made of GI rods and in a staircase like pattern. I mean lower the deck should be at a certain height and the next cage will be above that but at the back side so the dropping of the bird does not fall on the bird on the next floor. And the floor has been made slanted in that way so that when the egg is laid inside the house, the eggs come out rolling. And feed is given in front of the cage and water space is also given in front of the cage. So that the bird, they can just put their neck out and they pick up the feed from the front trough and also drink water from the front trough. And the usual sizes of the cages varies from different types from a single bird cage that will be something around eighteen inches in height then about ten inches wide and about another sixteen to eighteen inches in depth that is for one bird. I have extensively seen this system in countries like Australia, in countries like France, in countries like New Zealand and even in Singapore, Malaysia. And they are doing perfectly well. When it saves floor areas but we are to construct a house like that of the fleeted house because cages should be under a roof, under a house. Having a Pucca floor, having a roof side may be over nets instead of having brick walls and etc. There are other house also that is developed countries that is what they are known as weather controlled house for poultry. Here in those houses the inside temperature, inside humidity and even the air flow inside the house is controlled mechanically. So throughout the year the house maintains same temperature, same humidity and same air movement and those are known as the weather controlled house. Developed countries they are going for that type of house and they are getting more returns from each bird from in those kind houses. Although the initial investment is very high, almost prohibited for the poor countries in the far east or you know south east Asia. Thank you.
