Hi! My name is Sarah Darley with Sun Studios on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment, we're going to be talking about a barrier cream and applying it to your hands and feet. The first thing you're going to want to do before you put on barrier cream is if you have any jewelry on, you're going to want to make that you take it off. You're not going to want to wear it in the booth and you don't want to get barrier cream caked on it. Just remember to take off your jewelry and set it somewhere where you'll remember to pick it up in the end. Barrier is used on your hands and feet to lighten the skin on the tops of your hands. Normally, when you tan and your outdoors, your hands and feet don't get as tan as the rest of your body. You want to put on slightly cover it. You want to put it on your hands and feet and rub it in like lotion. You're going to rub it all over your hands, on the tops and the backsides of it. Rub it in very good and evenly just like you would a hand lotion or when you do it on the tops of your feet just like you would rub in like a foot lotion. Make sure it's rubbed in very good so that you get and even tan line from it so that your hands are all about the same color.
