Tips for Using Hairnets in Mist Tanning

Hi! My name is Sarah Darley with Sun Studios on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment, we're going to talk about covering your hair. In most salons, what they supply you with is a hairnet just like this. All you have to do is put it on over you hair. It's easiest if you pull your hair back to begin with, especially if you have long hair, just so that it's not hanging down over your neck. What you want to do is just put it on and put it as close to your hairline as possible. That way you don't get any marks left. If you have it hanging down too far, you'll have a line from where it's sprayed and where it didn't spray. It'll be very noticeable. It's okay if a little bit of your hair hangs out, but the reason you have to use a hairnet is because the solution will get into your hair and just make it feel comfortable. It just bead onto your hair. It won't stain it or tint it all, but it's going to make it so you want to shower, and you're going to have to wait to shower, so you don't want to have that feeling. You just want to cover your hair as best as you can before you get into the mist on booth.
