Cut Onion For Creole Potato Salad

Hi, my name is Karl James, owner of Creolesoul Catering located in Round Rock, Texas and on behalf of Expert Village I’m here to show you a Creole Potato Salad. Okay, now we’re going to cut our onions for our Creole style potato salad and what we’re going to do here is we’re going to cut this really kind of small, you want these some small dices, so I’m just going to make some really small slits along the sides and then I’m actually going to go through like this and then just kind of make small dices along the onion so they’ll be small and fine. So this is basically how we want this onion for our creamy Creole potato salad, because like I say, everything is going to be mixed, it’s going to be creamy, so we don’t want any really big pieces to pop out at you. So basically here we go, here’s our onion for our Creole potato salad.
