Alright now we are going to be learning an arabesque and what an arabesque is used in Lyrical, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Hip-Hop, so many variations so, we are going to add some hip-hop flavor to it of course since this is jazz funk. Basically we are going to come up on to releve' on our right leg but keep our standing leg which is our right leg bent. So just bending a little bit like so, just like this. Okay, so right leg out, just like this. Bend your knee, should be over your toe and you?re up. So. . . arabesque is just this left leg is going to be pointing out. Make sure that this leg is pointed at all times. Let me demonstrate real quick. It's going to go out. . . . okay? So these are more arms that are used in lyrical, we're not doing lyrical today, so our arms are going to come up, up, up. So just make them very flowy, very flowy when you are up on releve', which of course means when you are rising up on your toe, ball of your foot, your arms are going to come up with the leg. So, up and point that back leg and bend the standing leg and you're done. So we're going to do three of those just so we can get some practice. And one, two, three, step now we're going to add some hip-hop. Jump out, and pop, pop, throw, head. Okay? We all know how to pop our booty, but if we don't you're going to bend your legs and it's the reverse of a pelvic thrust. So back, back and sometimes your chest is going to go out but other times your chest is not, today we're doing it all so, your chest is going to go straight out, booty is going to go straight out, okay we are going to get two pops in there. It's going to go pop, pop, throw it, head. Okay? So to add that together we're gonna go one, two and three, four, five, throw, head. A little bit slower? We're going to go arabesque, arabesque, jump, pop, pop, throw, head. Alright? And there's your arabesque.
