I'm doing a demonstration for Expert Village, Painting 101. Now that we've finished the painting of the wall, as you can see smooth easy strokes. We've got a nice clear even finish. Now again, remember this was the wall where we were painting the ceiling and the wall the same color so we were able to go all the way up and all the way down without worrying about bumping into surfaces. The only unpainted surfaces here are going to be around the outlets. Now the trick with outlets, again as you can see is to remove the cover, paint around the cover as close as you can get and then we simply have to put the cover back on. That way we are not worrying about covering over the lighting cover and having to try to remove the paint or tape. The only thing left to do here is the edging which we can do with pretty much any size paint brush in here because we are not really worrying about messing up the finish or covering over the alternate colors.
