Questions & AnswersI'm doing a demonstration for Expert Village, Painting 101. If you have a little paint here, a little paint here, a little on the handle or on the ends, it is not going to affect it. You want to make sure that the internal roller parts are clean and in here are clean and that is as easy as running it under a facet or dipping it in cool water and spinning it. When you put the roller together for this particular project, I am using a medium thickness roller. Now when you go to your home improvement store, you will find some rollers where the brushes are really thin and close to the inside of the roller. I am going to use a medium one here because I like the way that it coats. It is a smoother coat. It will grip a lot more paint and you will get good smooth wall cover.
