Hi! I'm Jeff Wong with Expert Village and today we are going to learn how to change a flat tire. The location of your tools required to change your tire may vary from vehicle to vehicle. Be sure to check your vehicle Owner's Manual for the location of these tools. In my vehicle, the tools just happen to be behind the passenger seat underneath. So in the spare tire kit that comes with the vehicle, it should have a tire iron used for removing the lug nuts on the vehicle. It should have some crank pieces used to raise and lower the jack and it should have the jack itself to raise the car to remove the tire. To lower the jack turn the knob in a counterclockwise fashion which will lower either the piston or the scissor lift assembly and the jack can be easily removed from the vehicle.
