Traditional Mexican Dancing Rehearsal Attire

Since we're talking about Mexican folkorico dance, we're going to talk about the attire. For women, we can usually use that is comfortable. Both for men and women. You wan to use some shorts, which allow you to move. There's t-shirts, tank tops. For guys, same thing. For women, you need to make sure you have either boots or character shoes where you feel comfortable with dancing. Men usually use boots. Once we start rehearsing, you will use a skirt that looks like this or anything that you would have that you can get a hold of that has a lot of weight to it at the very end. It's not a really light skirt, but it's not that heavy. You're able to move with it. It could be any color you like. It can be in any size you like as long as you're able to move. Mexican folkorico dance also includes a lot of arms, so you want to be able to move the skirt. Also to be aware of, your hair needs to be in a bun ideally or in a pony tail out of your face so it won't get on your face as you're dancing. Typically, in Mexico, it's made out of yarn. You could use it here. Once you're actually performing, you're used to the weight of having something on top of your hair, and you don't feel weird once you start performing. Many people do rehearse with these things on in their hair so they can feel the weight and how it is
