How to Pick Sturdy Country Western Children's Furniture

Hi I'm Kelley Johnson with K. Nicole Design for Expert Village. This room belongs to a home that is very tailored throughout the rest of the house so we wanted to add the tailored feel with a nice quick crisp edges, the nice crisp colors in this bedroom that still gives a child a western theme. So this room although is very unique with the rest of the house and that it is the only room in the house that has a western theme we tied it to the rest of the home by keeping it really simple and classic. So this is for a 5 year child bedroom we have a little boy that is very rugged and all boy so we wanted to find furniture that was sturdy but also leaned it self to a western theme. We selected a pine wood that shows the knots in the wood that adds a little bit of a hint that it is a western feel because we have very durable furniture it is also going ot be functional for a 5 year old child.
