The 27 Points Color Guard Flag Exercise

This next exercise is called 27 points and it is going to help just to find certain points in your routines. What you want to do is you want to hold your right hand at the bottom of the silk and your left hand about 8 inches into the silk so you elbows are facing out. So you start you are going to put your left hand towards the butt and this is point 1 and it is towards the back of your hip, your right arm is extended and it is pointing 45 degree angle to the left this is point 1. Point 2 you are going to bring your left arm up, so your right arm does not move and it is going to be around eye level going to straight out that is point 2. Point 3 you are going to bring it down to a 45 degree angle. Point 4 towards your hip. Point 5 same thing eye level. Point 6 you are going to bring it down. Point 7 is straight ahead at your belly button. Point 8 same thing extended towards your eye level Point 9 straight at the ground. 10 is to the right 45 degree at your hip. Point 11 is eye level Point 12 straight down. Point 13 and 14 is at eye level again. 15, 45 degree angle down. 16 is 45 back you want to keep it towards your belly button. 17 is at eye level. 18 is back. 19 is you want to make a triangle both arms are extended. 20 you want to bend your right arm so it is resting at your shoulder. 20 you are going to slide your left arm so both arms are hitting the beginning of the silk. 21 is your left arm is at your belly button. 22 is at eye level. 23 is angled down. 24 is straight to the left. 25 is at eye level. 26 is 45 degree angle down and 26 and 27 is right back where you started. So this is 27 points when it is properly executed. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15, 16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27.
