The first thing I'm going to go over is drop spins. So drop spins is the most basic thing in color guard that you are going to learn. So this is called the butt of the flag right here where my left hand is and this is just the front the top. So you really want to make sure that you take you flag so you know where it guides your hands at. So the first part you are going to put your left hand where your belly button is. Make sure you stand a good shoulder width apart with your legs and you want to hold it so it is between your nose so it is on your nose. First thing I'm going to do is bring your right hand down towards your belly button and you are going to stop here and this is the check point. You then want to grab your left hand at the bottom of the tape mark and you let go of you top hand and you got to bring it up and that is one drop spin. So you do it a little faster it looks like this 1,2,3 and when you stop it you just want to bring it down here and grab it and you let go of your right hand and you want to prop it up and that is how you drop it.
