Backspin Breakdancing Moves

As you can see my hat is gone now, because now I'm going to start into my head spin, to my back spin, do everything like that. If you need a hat for your power moves, it's recommended that you wear a hat. One thing I do not recommend because some people make fun of you is don't wear helmets. Okay, So no Helmets. Alright, so beanies, caps, baseball caps are totally fine. Now, next thing I'm going to move into is what we call a backspin. I'm going to start from my knees, I'm not going to start going from the top right now. I'll wait to show you that later. Depending on which way that you turn, if you turn counterclockwise or if you?re turning clockwise of the clock that's what it depends on too. What I'm going to show you now is the strengthening of your arms. They're going to need to be placed to start yourself into a turn, into a spinning circle. For me it's going to be my right arm in front instead of being my left arm in front because, I'm going back towards my right side. What I'm going to do next is, this is going to be my swing leg, as you can see it's my left leg over here. It's going to be my swing leg that's going to swing under my body in this little hole right here. Next thing you're going to do is you're going to pop this leg up here; this right leg is going to pop right towards the ceiling. Now what I want to do as soon as that starts to happen and I feel my back touch the ground is I'm going to crunch my legs in and try to start spinning on my back. Now I can't grab around and touch this part of my back but you want to end up sitting in the middle part of the track, right here, into your back. So then, you're down, your hands are going to be set just like this, you're going to set, then you're going to kick, roll, come back around into a back spin. Now, the more momentum that you push on this, the easier it is and the more rotations that you're going to get on it. So again, I'm going to go slow, kick, up, around, spin, down, into the backspin. Now I don't put so many rotations on it right now because it's not needed. I just want to show you how you can spin and keep getting the spin under there. The harder that you whip your legs into this position, the more momentum and when you crunch it's the more rotations that you're going to get off of it. Now where you end up I can't really honestly tell you that right now, okay? What's going to help is when you the more times you do it and the more experience that you get into this move. So last time, all those moves together. Spin, back around, back into the camera. Back where you point. Okay, there is your back spin. Now go practice.
