How the Knights Move in Chess

Hi I'm Jitin Tuli on behalf of expertvillage.com and now I'm going to tell you about how does a knight move in capture. The knight is the only piece that can jump over other pieces. The knight always moves like the letter L. Keep in mind though that the letter could be side ways or even upside down and backwards. In the example the knight can move to any of the squares as shown here. Note that the white knight can move to the squares occupied by the white bishop no exceptions here. 2 pieces can never occupied the same square.
