Lift Ticket Skiing Tips

Hi! This is Dave Smith with Hillcrest Ski and Sports in Gresham, Oregon on behalf of Expert Village. In this tutorial we will cover beginning skiing. In this clip we're going to cover how to properly attach your lift ticket. When purchasing your lift ticket at the ticket office, make sure to grab one of these which is called a wicket on which you will attach your ticket. Check to see if there's any regulations about which side of your body to attach your ticket on. Some resorts require you to attach it on the right or the left side of your body. Then choose a piece of clothing that you will be wearing during the entire time that you are at the mountain, most commonly your pants or your jacket. Choose a zipper or some clothing, some clothing has a wicket holder. Slide your wicket through the zipper. Take your lift ticket. Put the back half on first. And fold the top half over itself. When you've removed your ticket backing make sure to place it in a proper trash receptacle.
