Stomach Exercises for Back Physical Therapy

Hi I'm Monica and this exercise we're going to do cardio back, it's actually not for our back but for your stomach. It's really important to have strong abdominal muscles if you don't have strong ab muscles what happens is your gut ends up getting weak and especially if you have a larger belly or anything like that then your comes back. Hi I'm Monica and the next exercise for back actually isn't for your back at all, it's for your stomach but having a strong stomach and strong ab muscles is very important to help your back. If you don't have strong abdominal muscles what happens your pelvis contend to rotate forward and that sometimes causes the back problems and causes your back to be accessibly arched. So the first one we're going to do is just a classic sit up that you seen before probably have done a million times of these. But we're going to make sure you do this with nice good posture you want to make sure that either your arms are cross your chest, you can pull them behind your head just make sure your not going to be pulling your head forward when your doing it. So I like to do them at my chest here you don't have to come all the way up like this, they made you do in gym class basically all you have to do is just come up about right there. Just so you feel your shoulders coming up the ground you can come and twist and that going to get your obliques, or just straight up right like that.
