Okay the next rule for position of running back is having a good stance. Now when having a good stance it is good cause you want to simple crouch it down, know which leg you are going to explode out off either the left or the right or which is your strongest leg and just simple explode of the count of the quarterback call. So you pretty much want to just explode, quarter your arms for the ball and catch the ball and have a good tight grip and run as hard as you can. The next rule for the position of running back is catching the ball. It is important that the running back also knows how to catch the ball. Just like the wide receiver does and it is just important that you give your quarterback as much room as possible when catching the ball. You don't have to be up close to the running back when the quarterback when he is in trouble. When the quarterback is in trouble he would look for you to be deep or far off from him to catch the ball. So you just want to be in a position of help when catching the ball. Now if the play is called for you to catch the ball you know where to go, where to stop, and where to catch the ball at. So it is just important to beware the quarterback is expecting you to be so be where he want you to be, you should catch the ball, just as if you where a wide receiver but the only thing is they look for you to be a little bit more faster then a wide receiver. So get to your position of play as quick as possible, look for the ball and run hard.
