How to Do a Two Step Drop & Pass in Football

Okay the second drill we are going to work on today is the 2 step drop for the quarterback. Simply give him a good stance, go back with the football, do tie plant and then throwing the ball. Now that is going to give your wide receiver a good chance of catching the ball. So he knows in detail it is what you are going to do so that makes it a good timing pass when it goes to the wide receiver. So you always want to let him know what you are going to do, your wide receivers or your tight end so again 2 step drop, simply go back twice and then pass. Like I said before that gives your wide receiver the timing, the chance to run the route and catch the football. Plant, 2 step drop and then pass.
