The Best Resolution for a Business Card
Hello my name is Darin Carter on behalf of Expert Village. Today I am going to show you how to design and promote your business card. Alright, now that we have the margins set up and everything is okay, there's one thing that I do have to tell you with printing out a business card or any type of professional image. You want to set your resolution to 300, like if you have a graphics program like PhotoShop or Fireworks, usually the default is at 72, so say for instance in Fireworks, we'll open up Fireworks and start a new business card. Right here we'll change the pixels to inches and it will be 3.5 to 2, after that right below that it says resolution right there its automatically at 72, right there you'll type in 300 and we'll hit okay. Now open up your business card same as it was but when it goes to print it's a larger image for the printing company can print out this document, and it'll look more clear more visible and more readable to people you have.
