How to Sell Baked Goods at Garage Sales
This is Ron with Expert Village and I'm talking about preparing for a garage sale. Now before your day of the garage sale there are a lot of items that you want to do. One of the big things is, some people really like to make baking goods. Maybe if you bake pies, cookies are really good, simple little items that people can eat when they're going back to their car. It tends to be a very good thing. So what you want to do is, the night before freshly bake your cookies. What I do is I cook cookies for the garage sale. Maybe you don't have a whole lot of other items to sell, but you know even it's a multifamily sale, but you want to sell something but you could make great cookies, well put them together. Rice crispy treats, anything that are small, cheap to make and cheap to sell. They're going to enhance your garage sale experience. People will come by. We often have a lot of people who don't even buy anything but they'll come up and buy our baking goods. "I sit them on a plate and sell them for twenty-five cents."
