Hi, I'm Monica. I'm going to show you another stretch for your neck. This is actually a stretch that is going to get your upper neck, upper shoulder area, and it stretches your trapezius muscle. Your traps are a big muscle that go all the way from your neck down to your lower back area there. But, this particular stretch is going to focus on the upper one. So what I want you to do is if you are going to stretch the right side you're going to turn your head then slowly just let your head fall down. So you should feel a nice stretch here on the right hand side. Again, you can put your hand on your head. Make that a little bit more of a stretch for you. You can hold onto the edge of your seat and just stabilize your should a little bit more. Come back up. If you want to do the left side you look to the left. Just let your head kind of fall down so you're looking at about a forty-five degree angle. Gentle pull on your head and anchor your shoulder with your hand there. Both of these you want to hold about thirty to sixty seconds.
Monica your videos have been a great help for me. I recently had my neck fused from C3-C7 and was instructed to have therapy. Knowing the therapists in my home town are not that great, I went on the web and found your videos and I thank you for the help that you have given me.
