Monica your videos have been a great help for me. I recently had my neck fused from C3-C7 and was instructed to have therapy. Knowing the therapists in my home town are not that great, I went on the web and found your videos and I thank you for the help that you have given me.

Neck & Shoulder Stretches for Neck Physical Therapy

Hi. I'm Monica and we're going to do another range of motion exercise for your neck and we're actually going to start involving your shoulders a little bit. So, for the neck one what we're going to do is again having the upright posture head nice and back. We're going to do a movement which just let me show it to you first. Just like this. So, you look kind of goofy when you're doing it. But, what you want to try and do is stick your head out as far as you can. Then come and back and tuck your chin. So, right like this is what you're looking for. You're not bending your head at all. It's just you're pretending your chin is right on a straight line and you're trying to straighten it right out and forward and coming right back in. So, tucking it in. The other one is for your shoulder so bring in your shoulders back. You should be squeezing your shoulder blades back together and then bringing them forward and rounding them then back and forward then back and forward and finally end with it nice and back.
