Monica your videos have been a great help for me. I recently had my neck fused from C3-C7 and was instructed to have therapy. Knowing the therapists in my home town are not that great, I went on the web and found your videos and I thank you for the help that you have given me.

Neck Stretches for Neck Physical Therapy

Hi, I am Monica and this time for the neck I am going to show you some stretches. So you can start off by doing some of the range of motion that we just did or you can start off with the stretches. Again the stretches are going to feel really great when you are getting tense or after a long day. The first one is kind of similar to the first range of motion we did, but just drop your head forward nice and relaxed and comfortable. You want to make sure too if you need more of a stretch that you kind of just lightly hold your head, pressing your head down. Just getting a good stretch. You should feel it all through the back of your neck there into your upper shoulders. Then you want to move on back. Again you should feel a nice stretch all right through here in the interior muscles. Usually you don't need a hand on your forehead but if you feel like this helps kind of keep your head back a little bit keep your forehead there. Back down again. You want to hold these about thirty to sixty seconds total each way. So you hold thirty seconds straight here if you want to. Do two sets of fifteen if so. Again right on back.
