How to Juggle Flaming Torches
Hi I’m Stephen Bent and I’m a professional juggler. Today I’m representing ExpertVillage.com. Now we’re going to learn how to juggle flaming torches. Now before we get started, juggling torches is extremely dangerous and should not be attempted until you are absolutely perfect at juggling clubs, also you should make sure that there is someone else nearby with a fire extinguisher ready in case things go wrong. Now the first thing you need to know about juggling torches is fuel, many kinds of fuel are unsafe for juggling. You should follow all the necessary safety precautions and not even attempt it on your first try without an expert with you. Now the first and most important thing to know about juggling torches is the kind of fuel. People prefer different types of fuel; I personally recommend charcoal lighter available at any hardware store. Place the fuel into a small cup such as the one here, now very carefully being certain not to leak any fuel, take your torch and carefully dip it into the fuel. Be sure to let any excess fuel drip off, remove it and take it away from where you are going to be juggling and shake the fuel off. Repeat that process with each of the three torches. Once each of your torches is fueled be sure to remove the cup of fuel from the area in which you are juggling. It’s helpful to have an extra long fire starter to ensure that your hand is further away from the flame when you light it. To begin, place the flame next to one of the torches, use that torch to light each of the other two. Now you’re ready to begin juggling and remember to be extremely careful and don’t try tricks you can’t do every time and every thing will go great. Never ever hold the torch with the flame below your hand, the flame will come up directly in your hand and burn you. Once these got down to a lower flame, I just blew them out and that’s how you juggle torches, be safe and have fun.
