Attract More Business with Systems
Hi! I'm Tim Ricke from timricke.com on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment; getting the business. We're going to look at the thing necessary for you to obtain your business and let it grow. Again, this includes systems. So if we look at the marketing aspects of that, the first thing we're going to have to do is get into lead generation. We'll go into that detail a little later, but getting the business is all about marketing. Whether it's through newspapers, radio, whatever you use. In order to obtain quality on the job you must have job assignments for everyone within your company, going back to those manuals we first discussed. As an example, if you went to work for a company like McDonald's, you'd spend the first day in class. The 2nd day, 3rd day, 4th day, you would be going through each of the jobs within McDonald's. By the end of the week you know all of the jobs. Here is the secret to this, it's very important to your franchising. By the end of the week they are so in grossed and involved in the business. Come Monday when they're assigned one of those jobs, they will do it according to where they're trained because they don't know any other way. They won't try and do it on their own. The result is the same product every time. Think about the places you've gone and bought a McDonald's product. Is it the same everywhere? Most likely it is because of the systems developed in getting the business and getting there. Then there's your supply systems and contracts. You must have this all lined up each and every time so that everything flows smoothly so that you always have your supply. Can you imagine if McDonald's ran out of buns where they would be. You don't want to be in that position, so you want to think of these details in order to make your business run smoothly.
